In 1984, Gerber’s Workwear started as a family operation in Southwestern Ontario manufacturing coveralls from a home farm. The company eventually began selling other brands of workwear, as well as offering embroidery and promotional products. In 1995, Gerber’s opened their first retail store in Milverton, Ontario. The company added new services, such as design and printing. The business steadily grew, including a new Listowel store in 1996 and a Strathroy store in 1997.

In 2009, Gerber’s opened their Donegal location, where embroidery, screening, printing, and design are all done, as well as storing thousands of items of inventory. The Donegal location has grown to include a larger retail footprint, where a massive selection of workwear and footwear can be found in the Workwear Outlet. Gerber’s added a fourth retail location in Wingham in 2019.

Gerber’s currently offers a broad range of services, including everything from logo design to zipper repairs to business card printing. A full line of promotional products are available for order, including custom pens, mugs, t-shirts, jackets, and much more.
